Menus Sizes

Takeaway menus printing normally comes in A4 or A3, although occasionally we print menus which are different sizes.  We can prin any size of menu you require.  Files should be supplied including bleeds if needed.  Print will be returned as the finished sizes.  Please ensure all artwork is centred within the document page.

Resolution

When supplying your menu artwork for print please ensure images are of reasonable quality to ensure your takeaway menu printing is of high quality.  If you require help with your images please let us know and we will be happy to help.  All artwork and images should be supplied at a minimum of 300 dpi.

If you are providing us with images used on websites you will need to send the originals before they were resized for web use. Web images are of low resolution at 72 dpi. They look fine on a computer screen but will be very pixelated when printed.

Colour

All menu artwork for printing should be supplied in CMYK not RGB.  If you need help with this please contact us now. Any RGB artwork that is supplied will be converted to CMYK and this may affect the appearance of your chosen colours. We cannot take responsibility for any unexpected results experienced from artwork that has been supplied in non-CMYK colours.

 Colour Proofing

Digital proofs will not be 100% colour accurate to the final Litho print and should be used as a guide only.

Transparencies

If you are using the transparency functions in Illustrator generated files, transparencies must be flattened and the files then converted to PDF or eps.
